1. Acceptance

You accept these terms when you create an account — by ticking the box on the sign-up form that says you agree to the Terms and the Privacy Policy, or by signing up with a third-party account such as Google — or when you otherwise use Muzings (the “service”). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only if a parent or legal guardian has agreed to these terms for you.

2. The service

Muzings LLC operates the service. Muzings lets you capture notes — typed, dictated, photographed, or shared into it from other apps — and uses automated processing, including AI models from the providers listed on our Subprocessors page, to organise them, help you find them again, remind you of them, and answer questions about them. AI-generated output, such as titles, categories, suggestions and chat answers, can be incomplete or wrong, so check anything important before you rely on it.

We may add, change, or remove features over time. We do not promise that the service, or any particular feature, will be available at any given time or will work without interruption or error, and we do not offer a service-level commitment. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose; you can download your data from Settings at any time. If you buy a paid plan, our Refund Policy also applies.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the credentials and activity of your account and for keeping your password secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. Give accurate information when you sign up, and do not create an account for someone else without their permission.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use of the service puts the service, other users, or anyone else at risk. Where it is practical and lawful to do so, we will give you notice and tell you why. You can stop using the service at any time, and you can delete your account yourself from Settings, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not:

• break the law, or use the service to help anyone else do so;
• upload or share content that infringes someone else’s rights, or that you do not have the right to use;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the service, to other people’s accounts or data, or to the systems that run the service;
• disrupt or overload the service, or try to get around its usage limits or security measures;
• access the service by automated means other than the apps and interfaces we provide; or
• use the service to harass, threaten, or harm anyone.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the service and our materials. You retain rights in the content you create. You give us permission to store, copy, process and transmit your content as needed to operate, secure and provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy — including sending it to the providers listed on our Subprocessors page.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited by contract.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, and disputes are subject to its courts.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If we make a material change, we will email the address on your account and post a notice on this page. If you keep using the service after an update, you accept the updated terms; if you do not agree with them, stop using the service and delete your account.
